Your business can scale to profitability, but first your expertise must be proven. When it comes to pricing you should consider the following:
– How much time it’s going to take you to get the work done and what the cost of your time is.
– The cost/quality of tools you need to execute the work.
– The value (think usefulness and efficiency) in your execution.
Many of us are scared to have conversations about money whether it’s asking for a raise or charging our desired fee to a potential client. Mostly because none of us have been taught how to effectively ask for money.
The thing about pricing is that you do not get what you deserve, you get what you’re willing to ask for.
Start with changing your language, to be quite honest, we do more than “day of” services. Think about it, do we just show up on the day of and execute, nope, our services normally starts about 30 days out, correct? IJS
